Requirements:
- Applicants must have a University Degree with a PGCE or BEd with major subjects qualifying the applicant to teach Business Studies, Consumer Studies and/or Hospitality.
- Ability to teach Business Studies & Consumer/Hospitality Studies at FET level.
- A minimum of 3 years teaching experience across all grade levels.
- A minimum of 3 years teaching Grade 12 Business Studies.
- Applicants should also be SACE registered or be able to show evidence that they have applied for registration.
- Applicants must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fully computer literate in Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms PowerPoint, Outlook and use of the internet.
- Effective learner management skills.
- NRSO certificate.
- Extra mural duties – active participation in sporting/cultural and/or service activities will be a requirement. Please state extra mural activities that you can offer.
Advantageous:
- Ability to teach CAT or History.
- NSC marking experience.
- Experience in teaching online and on interactive whiteboards and online would be an advantage.
