Requirements:
- Applicants must have a University Degree and PGCE with Maths II or BEd with Mathematics as a major subject.
- Ability to teach MATHS at FET level with a minimum of 3 years teaching Grade 12.
- A minimum of 3 years teaching experience across all grade levels.
- Applicants should also be SACE registered or be able to show evidence that they have applied for registration.
- Applicants must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fully computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook and use of the internet.
- Effective learner management skills.
- NRSO certificate.
- Extra mural duties – active participation in sporting/cultural and/or service activities will be a requirement. Please state extra mural activities that you can offer.
Advantageous:
- Ability to teach Mathematical Literacy/CAT/Business Studies
- NSC marking experience
- Experience in teaching on interactive whiteboards and online would be an advantage.
