The women of our school represent women from Constantia to Capricorn…..from Meadowridge to Mitchell’s Plein….from Tokai to Tafelsig……From Diep River to Delft….From Bergvliet to Bonteheuwel…. From Kirstenhof to Khayalitsha…. from Plumstead to Phillipi……from Heathfield to Hanover Park…..from Grassy Park to Gugulethu


The women of our school speak English, Afrikaans, Xhosa, Zulu, Hindu, Korean, Shona, French, German, Italian, Sesotho……
The women of our school are South African, German, Rwandan, Italian, British, Congolese, Indian, Zimbabwean, Korean, American…..
The women of our school are married moms, single moms, divorced moms, widowed moms, teenage moms, first time moms, pregnant moms…..
The women of our school are Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, Atheists, Baha’i, Agnostic, follow traditional African religions…..
The women of our school are heading up child headed families, are living in shelters, are backyard dwellers, live in the suburbs and in the townships…..
The women of our school are heterosexual, gay/lesbian, bisexual……
The women of our school have experienced rape, physical abuse, emotional abuse, economic blackmail, gender discrimination…….
The women of our school represent our community, our city, our province, our country, our continent, our global village, through their personal and shared experience.


The women of our school have spoken out today…..the women of our school have said ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! NO MORE!!!
The men of our school have spoken out today……the men of our school have said WE STAND SIDE BY SIDE WITH YOU!!! WE WILL BECOME BETTER MEN. WE HEAR YOUR ROAR!!!
