School Fees
The current school fees for 2025 are:
- All Grades – R44 000
The School runs an annual budget of around R40 million. The source of funding for this is predominantly the annual school fees paid by parents/legal guardians. The provision of a quality education for your child is very important to us, hence your decision to send him/her to Bergvliet High School. School fees are used to fund three main areas, operational costs, salaries and capital projects. All three ensure that your child receives a world class education. The basis of the relationship between Bergvliet High School and our parents is one of mutual trust and reciprocity – parents/legal guardians choose this school because it offers what they want for their son/daughter and we commit to deliver quality education. There is, therefore, an obligation on ALL parents/legal guardians to meet their commitments in respect of fee payments for this relationship to prosper. If you choose NOT to take the option from the State to enroll your child at a Non-fee paying school, but choose to enroll your child at Bergvliet High School, a Fee-Paying school, you accept the obligation to pay your way. In view of escalating costs school fees are subject to revision by the Governing Body from time to time.
School fees are charged on an annual basis at the beginning of the year and may be paid in one of the following options:
Option 1
One annual payment paid on or before 15 February of each year. Annual payments in full will receive a 5% discount.
Option 2
Payment in 10 equal instalments due on the 1st of the month starting 1 February and ending 1 November of each year.
Parents/Legal Guardians/legal guardians of learners are obliged to complete the school fee “Obligations and Conditions of Acceptance” form upon accepting enrolment at the School.
