Donation to Abundant Life Palliative Care

The BHS 1st Rugby team together with their coach, Taariq Enous, delivered adult diapers and toiletries to Abundant Life Palliative Care in Wynberg on Saturday morning.

These are much-needed for patients who are already battling life-threatening illnesses such as cancer, renal and heart failure. By donating these items the boys are lifting that burden off their shoulders, especially to those who are struggling financially.

A big “well done” to them for trying to make a difference and to their coach for leading by example and for teaching them “real men do care”.
Amidst everything that happened and all the protests in the city it was really heart-warming to experience this act of kindness this morning.

The boys were taken to Newlands Rugby Stadium afterwards by the coach to pay their last respects to the rugby legend, Chester Williams.
