Bergvliet competed at inter-schools and Zonal Championship level. Three of the athletes qualified for the Western Province Championships (Shariefa Brenner – 100 m; Junaid Fry – 100 m; Trevor Lee – 800 m). Not all the athletes were present when the picture was taken.
