This year, we collected an impressive 12,926 units of blood from 103 from the high schools who hosted blood donation clinics in the Western Cape. To say we are grateful is an understatement, thank you to all blood donors for taking the time to donate blood and encouraging your family and the public to save lives. As per our tradition, every year we recognise the top 10 schools for their efforts in collecting the most units of blood.
A huge congratulations to Outeniqua High the new champions of the Western Cape for collecting 370 units of blood with 108 new donors. Protea Heights Academy came in second place with 318 units and in third place, it is Worcester Gimnasium with 276 units.
