  • Foreman

  • Maths Literacy/Business Studies
  • Visual Arts

Pre-requisites for the SGB posts:

  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience across all grade levels.
  • Applicants must have a University Degree with their teaching subjects as Majors, plus a relevant PGCE or similar (if not a BEd qualification).
  • Academic transcript indicating your teaching subject as a major.
  • SACE certificate.
  • For Visual Arts a portfolio will be required.
  • Police clearance certificate.

SGB post Requirements:

  • Extra mural duties – active participation in sporting/cultural and/or service activities will be a requirement.  Please state the extracurricular activities you can offer.
  • Applicants must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fully proficient and computer literate in MS Office Suite, Interactive Whiteboard, Outlook and use of the internet/other digital paltforms.
  • Effective learner management/discipline/behaviour management skills.
  • NRSO Certificate
  • Comprehensive CV with contactable references, qualifications and academic transcripts

STATE CLEARLY WHICH OTHER SUBJECTS YOU CAN OFFER.

Advantageous:

  • NSC marking experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in teaching on interactive whiteboards would be an advantage.
  • Teaching CAT
  • Teaching Tourism

SGB Interviews will take place from May 2026 onwards, when an interview target of qualified or experienced applicants per subject required has been received. If you meet all the requirements, apply ASAP.
