Continuing with the theme, VALUE-DRIVEN EDUCATION, Ms Horak and Ms Du Plooy encouraged their learners to recognize the importance of RESPECT by having them sign ‘the pledge’ in order to show respect for themselves, others and their school.
They informed their learners that it is so important to be respectful, to everyone, no matter their age, appearance or occupation.
“We have been discussing that RESPECT is not only important at their young age, but also equally important for adults. If people treated others, how they would like to be treated, the world would be a much kinder place. The learners were very excited and we got some amazing responses” Ms Du Plooy
